For years I wanted to do a boudoir session for my 40th. I researched it several times and even reached out to a few recommendations but never received responses. I created a Pinterest board of posing and outfit ideas, then my 40th was suddenly upon me. I decided I'd try one more time to find a local photographer. I found Selure and messaged. Chloe was immediately responsive and welcoming and positive. We scheduled my session and she was incredibly thorough and sent tons of resources. On the day of my session I was nervous but excited.
When I arrived Chloe was even more welcoming. We chatted and I felt instantly at ease. The session was fun and effortless. She made sure my hair was placed right and that the lighting complemented the vibe. Afterwards I was nervous to see the results. I doubted myself ... who was I to think I could pull this off? "I'm just an average looking mom."
Then I got my pictures and WOW!! I was so happy and excited about the final product. There were so many great and sexy photos, I couldn't wait to show my husband and see his reaction. The only "downside" was that now I want to show them to everyone, but I don't think my parents would want to see all that! Lol!
The photoshoot was totally worth it and I look forward to the next session and love that I also made a friend in Chloe during the process. She has such a positive and fun spirit surrounding her. 10/10 recommend!

I think the idea of a boudoir session can sometimes send the wrong message initially, but it's not what you may have thought. It doesn't have to be "dirty" or insanely risque if you don't want it to be or if that's not your thing. We won't do anything that you're not completely comfortable with, and I'll make sure that you look and feel your best! I've done countless sessions that are more on a feminine, delicate, beautifully soft level rather than the more moody sexual level, especially with bridal looks. It's completely up to you; most of my clients do a good mix of both styles which works perfectly and gives the gallery a variety.
Your session will be completely private in my studio space, and your images will only be shared with your written permission in a model release form. I'll send you a questionnaire before your session so that we both know what vibe you're going for, what you are and are not comfortable with, and what your purpose for the session is so that we can bring it to life perfectly.

I can't tell you how many times my girls have text me leading up to their session, "oh my gosh, I'm so excited but also so nervous!" and it's completely okay to be nervous. That's actually pretty normal. I mean I have couples and seniors get nervous just for their regular sessions, so of course being in a situation like boudoir is going to be different and probably outside of your comfort zone, and that's okay. I promise I'll make it a fun and comfortable experience for you. I will guide you through every single pose (I literally do the pose myself and show you exactly how to do it) and then I'll give you direction for movements from there while I'm shooting, too. You'll never feel like you're not sure what to do because I'll show you or tell you exactly what to do, fix your hair between shots, and give you direction the entire time. You'll be moving through the poses on your own and really feeling yourself once you've gotten comfortable and started sparking your confidence!

next
When you book a session with me, you'll receive a Boudoir Prep Guide that I've created to help my clients feel prepared and confident going into the session. You'll have access to the outfits and accessories in my client closet, and you're welcome to bring your own accessories, too. You're more than welcome to bring a friend with you to your session to make you feel more comfortable, and we'll hype you up the whole time! I physically show you every single pose, give you guidance on how to move through the poses, make sure your hair is perfectly placed, etc. so that you never feel awkward or lost/like you don't know what to do. I'll guide you through the entire session! Your images will be delivered in a password protected online gallery for your privacy. I also offer custom designed albums that make the perfect gift; my clients absolutely love them! I have other amazing product offerings available for you to purchase to showcase your images outside of the digital gallery, such as prints and glass display boxes.
